When I was around eight years old, I made the bold (and very unplanned) decision to take a wrong turn on a ski mountain. One minute I was happily following my ski school group, and the next I was convinced I’d be stuck on the mountain forever, to never see my friends or family again. I eventually made it back to the base, but the experience stuck with me.
